Cas Milner consults with financial services and investment companies to develop analyses of their data. He has worked in two disciplines, with a common theme of inventive data analysis: quantitative investing and particle physics. Cas was Chief Data Scientist (2013-2015) at iMatchative, a start-up company, building a platform to match investors to appropriate hedge fund investments. He has launched two hedge funds, and has deep expertise in hedge fund operations, equity trading, risk management, and optimization. Recently, he has been consulting with PwC. He earned his Ph.D. (Physics, 1985) and B.S. (Physics, 1980) degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. He was Adjunct Professor of Physics at Southern Methodist University from 2003 – 2016. Cas has also co-authored the book “Dynamic Warehousing: Data Mining Made Easy”.
Sri Kompella is presently with the Strategy group of Tax & Accounting division of Thomson Reuters. Sri focuses on understanding the evolving needs of customers, identifying new markets and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Prior to Thomson Reuters, he has worked at Bain & Company, Sandvik, and GE. He has an MBA from Chicago Booth, PhD in engineering from Purdue University and an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India.
Hassan Khan is presently with the IT group of State Farm based in the Richardson,TX campus. After receiving his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Wichita State University, Hassan started his career developing Software for top 100 accounting firms. He has over 15 years of experience working in all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from Development/Testing to Deployment/Support. Hassan is one of the founding members of State Farm IT in Richardson and currently oversees multiple onsite and offshore Agile teams involved in complex system development.
Carol Scott is a Director with PwC with over 15 years of consulting experience where she has consulted across multiple industries. She focuses on technology enabled business transformation through assisting clients with technology strategy and technology delivery. Carol also has 8 years of professional experience working in finance and operations. Carol has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
